Filtrum

Filtrum, 450 mg tabs– broad spectrum and physiologically friendly enterosorbent on the basis of medicinal lignin for preventing and curing alimentary intoxications, intestinal infections and traveler diarrhea.

Mechanism of action

Filtrum adsorbs in the gastro-intestinal tract a wide variety of toxins, pathogenic bacteria and its metabolits thus neutilizing its concentration which results in elimination of the corresponding symptoms and recovery period.

Lignin is a polymer of plant origin, polysaccharide with developed porous structure.

After some technological processing lignin structure is modified in a way that it has a broad adsorption spectrum over wide range of human substrates with various molecular weight – from internal and external toxins with high and medium molecular weight to bacteria and its metabolits.

Such modified lignin is called medicinal lignin thanks to its usage for medical indications.

Powder medicinal lignin has low organoleptic properties and its oral intake is inconvenient due to its non-soluble characteristics and large dosage.

Special technology of preparing medicinal lignin before tabletting and further processing was elaborated by AVVA RUS corp. which made it possible to manufacture the product in tablet formulation with effective dosage 1-2 tablets.

Indications:

1. Intoxication by poor food, alcohol, drugs.
2. Acute intestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis, rota-virus infections etc.)
3. Diarrhea syndrom of unspecified origin
4. Traveler diarrhea.
5. Intoxication by detrimental substances accumulating at hepatic and renal insufficiency

Thanks to physiologically friendly origin and structure Filtrum does not affect any tissues of the gastro-intestinal tract, is does not accumulate in any organs and is entirely eliminated from the intestines.
